Biography

Sina Dollinger steht lächelnd in einem hellblauen Kleid vor einem grauen Hintergrund.

Sina Dollinger (née Günther) began her vocal training in the internationally renowned Mädchenchor Hannover and graduated with distinction in "Voice/Opera" from the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig with KS Prof. Roland Schubert. She then studied at the Rabine Institute in Mannheim with Uwe Götz, where she earned the degree "Certified Rabine Master Singer." Since the 2024/25 season, the mezzo-soprano has been a member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Neustrelitz as part of the Norddeutsche Opernstudios. There she has already performed Cherubino in Mozart's opera "Le nozze di Figaro", Maddalena in Verdi's opera "Rigoletto" and Farzana in Wagner's opera "Die Feen". In the 2025/26 season, she will perform in Neustrelitz, among other roles, Wirtstochter in Humperdinck's opera "Königskinder", Stella in Lincke's operetta "Frau Luna", and the title role in Handel's opera "Orlando" in Rostock. In December 2025, she will also make her debut at the Philharmonie Berlin with the role of Hänsel in Humperdinck's opera "Hänsel und Gretel".

As a versatile artist, Sina Dollinger is active not only on the opera stage but also in the concert scene. She regularly arranges song recitals as well as solo concerts and performs as a soloist in oratorios in the Hanover area, Leipzig, Mecklenburg- Vorpommern and Saarland, among other places.

The young singer was a scholarship holder of the Heidelberger Frühling Liedakademie 2023/24 under the artistic direction of Thomas Hampson and also received a scholarship from Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Leipzig e. V. She is a prizewinner of the Louis Spohr Competition 2024 in Kassel, where she won a scholarship from the Irma-und-Karl-Jansa-Musikfonds. The mezzo-soprano got valuable stimulus as a workshop participant at the Schubert Week 2024 in the Pierre Boulez Saal Berlin with Susan Manoff, among others, as well as through masterclasses with KS Prof. Christiane Iven, Prof. Karoline Gruber, KS Prof. Regina Werner-Dietrich, Prof. Alexander Schmalcz and The King's Singers.

Annotation:
Since July 2025, the singer has changed her name to SINA DOLLINGER.
All previous reviews originally used her birth name, SINA GÜNTHER.

Mezzo-soprano Sina Dollinger shines comically as the page Cherubino with exuberant enthusiasm for performing, vocally versatile and confident.
